Buffalo Chicken Pizza

Buffalo Chicken Pizza Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of chicken breast, chopped into 1 inch cubes
  • Package of prepared pizza dough (we use either Trader Joe’s or the one they have at Winco)
  • 1/2 cup of Frank’s hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup of pickled jalapenos
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese dressing
  • 1 package of “crispy buffalo” flavored Shake ‘N Bake
  • 8 oz of crumbled blue cheese
Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF
  2. Follow the directions on the Shake ‘N Bake box to coat the chicken cubes
  3. Cook the chicken for about 15 minutes or until chicken is done (165ºF)
  4. Get a large baking sheet or pizza pan and spread the dough out
  5. Spread the Frank’s on the dough
  6. Add the cooked chicken pieces, spread evenly
  7. Sprinkle the blue cheese onto the pizza
  8. Spread the jalapenos evenly
  9. Cook the pizza to the desired crisp level, the pizza dough packaging with give recommended cooking times
  10. Drizzle the dressings evenly over the pizza
  11. Add additional Frank’s if you like more spice

It is hard for me to stray from a traditional marinara sauce based pizza.  But, when given the opportunity to have a Buffalo Chicken Pizza at a restaurant I go for it.  I’m a spice fiend.  Tyler and I decided to try it out at home.  It was delicious!

Enjoy!
